I was on the tail end of a 37km run. And I ran past this house that !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! The gate was open and I saw something in the driveway that stopped me in my tracks and wasn’t a 550 (though the 550 was there in the garage).

Not the car. I felt weird taking a pic since he was standing there. Similar though.

Dude was washing a Citroen SM in the driveway. A rare beast. I said hi, told him you never ever see them. He said most people don’t know what it is. Nice guy.

It was an unusually warm day in Melbourne winter, the first time it’s hit 17 in a month or two and sunny to boot. A great day for washing, he tells me. Just quietly, I sorely wish I had his life. He lives in one of the priciest parts of the city, yet still has room for a 4 car garage though I didn’t quite see what the other 2 cars are.

Even so I think we understand each other.

I would have asked if I could take a picture. The SM is something I would drop everything just to see, much less have a few words with the owner. Was it blue like the top shot?

Here’s one I saw at a local show last year. The owner lives about 4 blocks from me and also has a DS I see on the road now and then.

Haha, I feel the same way. I’ve taken pics of them before, I didn’t wanna be weird. Yep, same color.

They are cool but maybe the biggest mechanical nightmare you can imagine. They have hand grenades in there and everything!

I did enjoy! But today that got made illegal, we’ve gotta stay 5km from home. It’s for the best :)
